From Concept To Corey – A Product Journey

British Tripod Brand, 3 Legged Thing, famous for their innovation and quirky designs are offering an unprecedented opportunity to gain a unique insight into their production process of their latest launch – Punks Corey

#ConceptToCorey is a new project which documents the journey; from the very doodles of an idea, through to engineering CADs, photo-realisitic renders, prototyping and testing. It’s all here, laid bare for photographers and voyeurs of ‘how stuff works’  to get a handle on what goes into bringing a 3LT tripod to market.

 

 

The project will be chartered across Twitter and Instagram. “We have an incredible level of engagement across the regular social media platforms – those photographers who’ve used our tripods or just love our branding and style, feel that they have a direct way to communicate with us. We wanted to be able to share with them an interesting insight into how we bring our products to market.” commented 3LT’s Global Marketing Manager, Dan Crawford.

“It doesn’t even end at product launch” comments 3LT Founder and CEO, Danny Lenihan. “We quite often make small design adjustments and adaptations once we receive consumer feedback, after the launch. We want to be able to produce the best products we can, and who better to provide the inspiration for change than the many thousands of customers we have dotted around the world?”

The project is to end on Christmas Day. 3 Legged Thing promise to show some of the intricate details of the design work, and follow the critical path from Concept to Corey.
